Big Time Rush will be bringing their ’Big Time Summer Tour” to the Scotiabank Place in Ottawa on Friday, September 7th!! Big Time Rush, Nickelodeon stars and Columbia Recording artists will perform songs off their latest album Elevate including ’Music Sounds Better With U,” ’All Over Again” and ’Elevate.” Big Time Rush recently performed a sold-out show at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Australian pop phenomenon Cody Simpson will open for Big Time Rush.
Tyler Medeiros and Victoria Duffield have been added to the Big Time Summer Tour lineup alongside headliners, Big Time Rush and special guest Cody Simpson.
16-year-old, Tyler Medeiros is already drawing early comparisons to multi-platinum superstars like Usher and Justin Timberlake for his advanced songwriting abilities as well as dancing and acting chops, Tyler was initially discovered by CP Records executive Tony Sal, who groomed the young artist into greatness over the past few years. Together, they won over Canadian audiences with runaway hits like ’Say I Love You (Please Don’t Go)” featuring Young Money Records artist Lil Twist and ’Girlfriend” featuring Danny Fernandes. But the future superstar did not get that extra added boost needed to take him through the stratosphere until pop icon Flo Rida stumbled across some of Tyler’s videos on YouTube. After meeting one another and seeing Tyler’s drive and ambition, Flo decided to make him one of the marquee artists on his own label International Music Group. Medeiros has a batch of hot singles coming out back to back throughout the year including the soon to be released ’Radio” Ft. Flo Rida.
Entertaining is not something Victoria Duffield has always wanted to do – it is something that she has always done. The singer, dancer and actor from Abbotsford, British Columbia, is not afraid of being in the spotlight, as proven by her spirited debut single for Warner Music Canada, ’Shut Up and Dance.” Victoria is not just a musician, but an accomplished actor and dancer as well. Her resume includes more than 30 movie and television show acting credits, including roles in Smallville, Supernatural, Cold Squad and The Haunting Hour.
