Eric Church

With special guest COLT FORD

Feb. 16, 2013

Scotiabank Place

He has sold-out multiple cities in the United States, but Eric Church’s inaugural headlining arena tour, The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour, won't stop there. Announced today, Church has added additional shows to his first-ever Canadian tour. Special guest Colt Ford will join Church on the tour. Tickets for the Feb. 16 show at Ottawa’s Scotiabank Place will go on sale on Friday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m.

Recently honored by the 2012 CMA Awards with the prestigious Album of the Year award, Church has become a household name in country music since the release of his RIAA-Platinum (U.S.) and Gold (Canada) certified album CHIEF, which has included two Canadian No. 1 singles to date, with ’Springsteen” and ’Drink in My Hand”. Moreover, he performed "Springsteen" on the Canadian Country Music Awards (CCMAs) this year, and fans can expect him to perform 90 dates on The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Not only has The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour received huge response from fans, but it has also been met with praise by many outlets including The Boston Globe which reported, "With his vivid songs, frenetic performances, and outsider allure, Church is a refreshing figure on the country scene." The Reading Eagle added, ’It’s been said a transcendent concert can resemble a religious experience, but this took it to a new level… the 34-year-old frequently exploded from the mic stand, arms pounding his chest, screaming at the crowd to boost an energy level that pyrotechnics and explosions had already elevated… the energy roared.”
